Marengo Foods Company, LLC was formed in August of 2009 as a partnership between three of the best growers of tomatoes, bell peppers, and other vegetables in Sinaloa, Mexico.
Marengo Foods, grower owned and operated, is in charge of marketing and distributing the growers' production program and developing new products in the marketplace.
Main objectives are setting up and growing direct relationships with the retail and food-service accounts nationwide on both, regular and commited business on a year round basis.
Marengo Foods Company LLC, owns and operates a distribution center in Hidalgo, TX. and also operates a forward distribution center in Dallas, TX where tomato repacking operations take place to fulfill the retail customer's needs nowadays. The company is looking to expand into other areas with forward/repacking centers nationwide.
Product portfolio consists of the following items:
* Tomato: Vine Ripe, Beefsteak (Hothouse, Roma (Plum), and Grape.
* Bell Pepper: Green, Red, Yellow, and Orange.
* Eggplant: American
* Cucumber: Slicer, Long English, and Mini Seedless.
* Watermelon: Seedless & Seeded.
